ESAD i ESTAE. Xerrada de Jerôme Maeckelbergh "Back to the Future of Heritage Theatre Technology"

Conferència organitzada per l'Escola Superior d'At Dramàtic (ESAD) i l'Escola Superior de Tècniques de les Arts de l'Espectacle (ESTAE) amb el prestigiós escenògraf Jerôme Maeckelbergh. 

El workshop versarà sobre com la tecnologia del teatre històric pot ser utilitzada en l'escena contemporània, com a element escenogràfic en les produccions actuals.

Maeckelbergh ha dissenyat l'escenografia de més de cinquanta produccions per a teatre i gènere musical. També ha realitzat la utilleria, màscares i el treball escultòric d'altres representacions.

Especialitzat en l'àmbit de la tecnologia escènica, Jerôme Maeckelbergh és membre de l'Organització Internacional d'Escenògrafs, Arquitectes i Tècnics de Teatre (OISTAT), i dinamitzador del projecte Theatre Words, que recull, a manera de diccionari, els termes tècnics del món del teatre més comuns en diferents llengües.

Conference organised by the Escola Superior d'Art Dramàtic (ESAD) and the Escola Superior de Tècniques de les Arts de l'Espectacle (ESTAE) with the prestigious scenographer Jerôme Maeckelbergh. Specializing in the field of contemporary alternatives for heritage stage technology, his masterclass will focus on how this technology can be used in any contemporary performance space, as a scenographic element in current productions.

Maeckelbergh has designed over 50 productions for theatre and musicals. Also he has realized special props, masks and sculptural work for various other productions. He is a member of the International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians (OISTAT), and an invigorator of OISTAT’s Digital Theatre Words project, which collects, in a multilingual digital dictionary, the most common technical terms of the theatre world in different languages.
