Secondary School for the Arts / Professional Dance Academy (EESA / CPD)
The EESA was founded through an amendment on 3 May 2001 to the founding convention of the CPD, signed with the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya) on 28 January 2000. The curricular organisation of intermediate-level specialised dance education (specialised secondary school programmes), as well as combined compulsory secondary education and intermediate-level specialised dance education, is regulated by Decree 84/2000, from 8 February, as well as by the decrees concerning compulsory secondary education of the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia.
The Secondary School for the Arts / Dance Conservatory confers the General Certificate of Secondary Education and the degree of Dance Professional in the following specialisations:
